About this figure
The ATO says a fund can accept all types of contributions for a member under this age. Other conditions can still apply, such as the fund's own rules. Downsizer contributions have their own minimum age. Compulsory employer contributions can be accepted at any age. The ATO gives this rule for the 2022-23 financial year and later.
