About this figure
Part of the single pension rate in the Department of Social Services rates list for 20 September 2026 indexation. The effective date comes from the Social Services and Other Legislation Amendment (2014 Budget Measures No. 6) Act 2014, Schedule 1, Part 1, item 46: from 20 September 2014 the Energy Supplement replaced the Clean Energy Supplement, with an amount of $366.60 for a person who is not a member of a couple. The Social Security Guide (5.1.10.20) gives $366.60 as the yearly rate and says the Energy Supplement is not indexed.
